*Back in 1980, 42% of the US population had said they had had a "ghostly" experience and 67% of Widows had said they experienced apparitions.
What is a Druid?
The reason the Druidism is misunderstood is because very little written down. the "religion" is passed down orally. There were two groups of Druids. One called the Bard and the other called the Ovates.
The Bard's studied music and words. and are probably the inventors of the Ogham, the Druid alphabet. The Ovates studied ways to tell the future and Philosophy. They are the ones who would be called upon to cast spells on the land to help crops or the sick. This could be loked upon like praying for a good season or a sick friend, just more "in depth".
Druids did not believe in materialistic things. Instead they devoted much of their time believing in reincarnation and magic.
During Julius Ceasers's reign, he thought the Druids were threatened the way of "Christian life" and ordered them to be killed. Many escaped and continued to practice their way of life underground. Ceaser may have been the person to report that the Druids sacrificed animals and people. This hasn't been proven, but let's face it, Ceaser wasn't exactly a "Truth, Justice and the American way" type of guy.
The festival of Samhain is when they celebrated Halloween. This is when they honer the dead (instead of dressing up like them.).
Many Druids were vegetarians and were kind to the Earth. They veiwed natural life sacred.

*The magic word ABRACADABRA possibly derived from the initials of the Hebric words AB, BEN, and ruach a Cadasch meaning 'Father, Son and Holy Ghost..'.

Ganzfeld Stimulation: Created in the 1970's, this technique was used to make an enviorment of sensory deprivation to stimulate the receptivity of ESP. A receiver is placed in a sound proof room and atempts to get the thoughts given by a sender. They put on "cups" over their eyes, so the receiver keeps their eyes open. At the end of the session, the receiver is shown images and asked to pick the item he "received". Results have a success rate of up to 50%, which beats the rate of chance which is only at 5%.

GHOUL: The word is from the Arabian word "ghul" ('to seize') and used by some to denote an evil spirit that haunts graveyards and feeds off corpses.

The meaning of the word 'Haunt': The word is from the same root as 'home'. Hauntings have been investigated since the 19th century. Some researchers claim that "ghosts" are just meaningless fragments of energy left behind from death. Others believe hauntings are from vibrations of an event or emotion imbued into the house, site or object. Most researchers believe that ghosts are the spirit of somebody who has chosen or not gone on to "the other side".

I've heard of the Illuminati. What is that?": The Illuminati is the spiritual or esoteric enlightenment by revelation from higher sources or inspiration. The 'Order of Illuminati' was founded in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt. The Order aimed to spread a new religion based on enlightened reason derived from direct contact with Divine Reason. Illuminism was antimonarchial, and it's identification with republicanism gained it many members throughout Germany. In 1784, Masonry was denounced to the Bavrian goverment as politically dangerous. This led to the suppression of all secret orders.

Men In Black: Some people (mostly in the early 50's) reported seeing men dressed entirely in black. They would generally appear after someone had witnessed a UFO. One of the first cases of MIB was from Albert K. Bender. It was said that he found out parts of the origins of flying saucers. He sent his results to a 'friend' in Washington. Soon after, 3 men dressed in black, came to his home, his letter in hand. Soon after, Bender became greatly ill and decided to keep his results to himself. MIB's are mainly seen in America but have been reported in Australia and South Africa.

The Squadron: Reported from psycic Echo Bodine, the Squadron is a group of souls who seek out lost spirits and send them 'into the light'.
